THE ART OF FOLEY AND CINEMA SOUND – with Steeve Body @ Port Douglas Community Hall Room 2, 1pm – 4pm
In this workshop, Steeve will demonstrate how a movie soundtrack is put together. Participants will work on a 3-minute Sci Fi short film using a Digital Audio Workstation and record foley sounds, including footsteps and other background noises to go with the actions on screen, hand pick and place sound effects, select some music and mix the whole project in under 3 hours! This workshop will give you a great insight in the art of sound design and foley recording and demonstrate the importance of sound in film.
